I heard the greatest story yesterday that I thought the lemonaid drinkers would enjoy. One of my girlfriends is incredibly close to her 90 year old Grandmother. Her respect and devotion for her Grandmother should be a model for all of us who let the excuse of being too busy get in the way of fostering a daily relationship with our amazing Grandparents. She regularly takes her Grandmother out for lunch so that she can escape the old age home. Each time I have met her Grandma, I am impressed with how physically active and emotionally sharp she still is. The other day, my friend and I were discussing vibrators. From that conversation, we started chatting about her Grandmother’s latest adventures in the old age home. By adventures, I thought were were talking about stealing extra tapioca from the kitchen. Speaking of vibrators, she said, they do work for all generations! Well, I now understand that the reason Grandma is still in such good shape (mind, body, and spirit ) is because she regularly revs up the vibrator that her Granddaughter surprised her with for Christmas a few years earlier. I guess everyday is Christmas for Grandma.
