THE PARTY DRESS

Tis the season of the party dress and it is a recession.  This unceasing recession is cramping the cougars’ style and their inability to purchase a new dress for each occasion.   I don’t mean designer dresses either!  How about a darling edgy frock from Alice and Oliva for under $300.  That was the perfect solution until husband started reviewing amex bill with a fine tooth comb.   One of my brightest friends started popping up in some new cute outfits that I had never seen before.  I thought we have not been shopping , I asked.  She giggled and said that she had been shopping in her own closet!  What a fabulous idea but how about taking it a step further and shopping in your best friends’ closet.  Somehow her LBD  (little black dress) seems new and exciting next to my tired one.  Born came the idea of recycling party dresses!
