BEAUTY BLENDER

Sometimes in life, it is possible to stumble upon a beauty product that you can’t even believe that you had ever survived a day without.  As a writer of a lifestyle blog who prides herself on discovering the newest and the coolest, these product revelations do strike me like bolts of lightning.  Recently, I was cruising the aisles of a beauty supply store when I noticed a hot pink egg shaped make-up sponge.  I was intrigued by the color but I was even more curious about the promises it made.

I have always been sensitive about my “indented” eyes as labeled and teased by one of my dearest friends from elementary school.  The older I got, the more pronounced the bags and dark circles under my eyes became.  I was always hunting for the best concealer to help combat the indented eye problem.  What I realized from trying the beauty blender was that the problem was not the actual concealer but the make-up sponges I was using.  Most make-up sponges (and fingers for that matter) are square or round shaped.  There is no corner small enough that can effectively fit in the area between the bridge of the nose and the eye.  The beauty blender is egg shaped and thus the tip is narrow enough to perfectly fit into the corner socket of the eye which has made applying the concealer flawless and effortless.  The blender is also useful in doing a smoky eye make-up application.  Easy to clean and equipped with a cleaning solution, this is one product I am confident that the female drinkers will appreciate.
