DEAR MISS LEMONAID:
I AM ENJOYING A NEW RELATIONSHIP AND DESPERATELY HOPING IT WILL MORPH INTO MARRIAGE AND KID. WE HAVE BEEN DATING FOR TWO MONTHS BUT THE SEX IS BECOMING INFREQUENT…HELP
——————————————————————————————————————————-
Dear Concerned,
This is concerning! Sex in the beginning is the hottest and occurs all of the time, morning, noon, AND night. Here are my questions? Is the sex good, does he get turned on, is he confused about his sexuality, is he depressed, is he medicated, is he too old for you as a sexual young, hot, thang? Chances are your sexual future with him is already determined. I would imagine confronting this sensitive issue at such a “young” time in the relationship would be daunting. However, these are the rippling issues that could swell into tidal waves. Sex is a crucial part of any healthy intimate relationship. When you broach the conversation, approach the issue as a “WE”. I do not recommend that you come from an attacking, blameful position. Try something like this… babe, I love being close to you physically, I know the days are tiring but let’s make a real effort to connect more frequently because its soooo amazing…blah blah. Hopefully, he will get the message. If nothing changes, figure out what is most important to you in a relationship and if sex does not top your list, and you can adjust your appetite, then stick around. Otherwise, I am sure greener pastures await you.

excellent advice!
I didn’t know that.
