Lately, I have been hearing about a disappointing trend in divorce. In fact, I have witnessed it happening to my friends and frankly, it makes me sick. I am hardly a “MAD MEN” wife but are all traditional roles of males and females really dead? Is there no sense of being the MAN of a family or head of the household? I don’t doubt that this post will open up a can of worms and illicit strong opinions. Yes, society has changed and for the better, I might add. AND, yes, there are always exceptions to rules and extenuating circumstances… But really! What kind of a man takes alimony from his wife? Unless the defined or by default role of the man has been Mr. Mom, I find it pathetic when a man forces his wife to pay him alimony. Because I am a lady, I would never use the proper word that defines these losers! ( it starts with a “P” !)
