Nobody loves a good accessory or statement piece more than me. I definitely go through phases where certain accessory types hold center stage. Necklaces of all chain width, link, and color held primo real estate for years. With my hair chop, earrings had been the most recent go-to decorative item on my body. Bracelets have never been high on my list due to the comfort factor. A new passion has been unleashed in pins. One of my classiest friends has broken out a signature pin on special occasions. Each time she dons the pin, it becomes a conversation piece. I had purchased pins on my travels and would gravitate towards ones that are nautical in nature but never wore them. The other day, I stumbled upon a sparkly and muted gold anchor pin. It was a vision! I did leave the store empty handed wondering if I really was a pin person. Days later, I found myself getting dressed thinking about the anchor pin. Ultimately, I broke down, purchased the pin, and have added brooches as a top item on the Fall must-have list. Anything that adds sparkle, dimension, and individuality to an outfit- I am IN!
