THE FROZEN YOGURT DIET

I am in!  Nobody loves a fully loaded Fro-yo more than me.  Cake Batter, Red Velvet, Dulce De Leche all topped with a cup of yogurt chips and a swirl of caramel.  Yum Yum, I could live on this concoction forever.  Have your appetites been piqued, is your tongue swirling around your mouth anticipating the cold, sweet, cream?   Who knew there was a frozen yogurt diet?  Sucker, there is no frozen yogurt diet except to stop eating it.  And by “it”, I mean frozen yogurt.  My favorite dessert packs the lbs on my ass like there is no tomorrow.  I did not want to accept this reality!  After performing a diet challenge which removed frozen yogurt from my diet for a week, the results were obvious.  I had lost 4 pounds.  I have yet to decide if consuming fro yo is more gratifying than being 4 lbs skinnier.  I will keep you posted!  I am an all or nothing person, eating the yogurt 1x a week is not as thrilling as every night.  Those 60 calorie jello puddings fail miserably in terms of satisfying my sweet tooth.  Oh yeah, not to forget, my flatulence has flown out the window with those 4 lbs as well.  Husband is happy!

ok nikki, you have not changed. we used to live on fro yo from yogurt park and that other place (julie’s) where we got the “fat free” make me fat muffins. i think it was gise? anyway, lbs are due also to the fact that we are almost 40 and nothing comes off easily! i mangia mangia mangia my way through italy this summer for chris’ 40th and i am still shedding the unwanted lbs. was the gelato twice a day and pasta for dinner worth it? absolutely! but all good things come with a price. we could barely button our pants getting on the plane home. a sad but true reality of our age and our ever so slow metabolism. fro yo is still a once a week outing for the berry family but i now limit myself to licking from each kids cone because licks are calorie free , right? miss you!! xoxoxo
