Dear Turned Off, I have bad news for you sweetheart, if you let a person’s lack of style influence your ability to
potentially fall in love, then plan for a life as a spinster. You can not change a person’s character but you can certainly suggest a few wardrobe alternatives. When his dorky clothes are off, do you want to jump his bones? If he has good morals, makes you laugh, and turns you on in the sack, then by all means take a trip to J Crew and invest in a few items of clothing. Early on in my courtship with Husband, we woke up after a fun night and threw on clothes to go grab a bite of breakfast. I near about passed out from repulsion when my future husband popped out of his closet in jean shorts. NASTY!!!!! Fashion jail would not have been enough punishment for such a transgression! I furrowed my brow, pointed at his jean shorts, and coughed. Within a nano- second, those offensive shorts were torn off of his body and thrown into the trash. (today, that immediate desire to please me would NEVER happen.) In any event, your new suitor could despise your style. I later learned that Husband abhorred my love of black clothes, my urine trappers (black leggings) and choice of sexy lingerie. Just throw it out there and say, hey babe, I saw the cutest shirt yesterday and it made me think of you….. Easy stuff, Sippers!
