I love receiving holiday cards of my friends and their kids. Seeing how the kids have grown each year brings a smile to my face. I am always so impressed by the number of cards I receive because I know much work it is to send them out. But it is so NICE! I have been married a long time and have two adorable boys who are now 9 and almost 7. Every year, I suggest to Scrooge (oops, I mean Husband) that we should send out cards. Bah humbug, he screeches. Nobody really likes Holiday cards! He is so wrong and each year I promise myself that I will send a card out with myself and the boys ONLY. The only year Husband was open to sending out a card was the year that I got my boobs done. He wanted to do a pre and a post shot of my chest with the slogan “Things are looking UP for the Joels.” The moral of this tale: don’t feel bad and think you are off our holiday card list because there is none. Please keep sending cards to me because there is somebody at our home who loves receiving them. Happy Holidays!
