I’m in the club! The 40′s club that is. Yep, it happened. I turned 40 this weekend. I actually felt better turning 40 than I did on my 39th birthday. I guess the end of a decade is much harder than the beginning of a new one. Do I feel different? No, not really. The kids still don’t wake up easily in the morning, my coffee tastes the same, the wrinkles (that the botox could not reach) are still there, and I am dramatically tired by 2 pm. However, I am beyond grateful for my life! I have the most amazing family and friends that a person could ever dream of. I have a husband who is my soul mate and best friend. The sun really sets on my shoulders in his eyes. My children break my heart into a million tiny pieces everyday from sheer joy and pride. I am told that the 40′s are the best decade for a woman. I am ready! Thank you everyone for all of the love and celebration for my birthday. I am truly blessed.
