As much I as I love tender, loving moments between devoted couples, some acts are simply too much to stomach. Friendly acquaintances of mine recently shared a story at a kid’s birthday party. Since they openly disclosed the breastfeeding story, I felt it would be okay to share with my Sippers. The question is…. Have you ever? A couple leaves the newborn at home and flies to the Big Apple for a romantic weekend. Upon arrival at the hotel, mommy realizes she left the pump at home. Her boobs are aching, engorged, and beginning to leak. We have all been there! Do you take a steaming hot shower and squeeze the milk out one drop at a time? Do you run to the nearest Duane Reade and buy a temporary pump? or do you drum roll please…. let your husband nurse?
