PACK:

The friends that cut together are the friends that stay together, right? Right! Recently, I have witnessed a trend where friends are opting to do plastic surgery (breast aug, anyone?) on the same day and then recovering together at some swanky post op center. How fun to undergo plastic surgery together, pop pain pills, and compare results. Instant gratification rules my world! The husbands can visit together and anticipate future bedroom antics with the new friends. It is a shame that surgeons don’t offer a two for the price of one deal. Find a friend, convince your husband, and get ready for bikini season!

MISS LEMONAID’S LAWS FOR PRINTED PANTS

Nothing says “spring fashionista” louder than a pair of printed pants. But with just a few fashion missteps, you can quickly veer from bold and on-trend into unflattering and all wrong. So how do you keep your look chic? See Miss Lemonaid’s Laws of Printed Pants:

Law #1:

Let your pants do the talking and keep it simple up top. Stick with neutrals in beige, black or white.

Law#2:

When sporting the pants, always wear wedges or booties (ie: my Rag & Bone obsession). Extra leg length will keep the pattern from becoming overwhelming.

Law #3:

Make sure your pants fit. I know this sounds obvious, but printed pants with a relaxed fit can make the behind-region look a little saggy. And no one wants a saggy bottom…

When setting the next new trend, the top fashion houses rarely take practicality into consideration. Which is why I was both shocked and delighted when I saw cross-body bags popping up all over stores and fashion blogs. Some of my favorite brands (including Philip Lim and Chloe!) are making my life so much easier by creating miniature versions of their classic totes. I recently discovered the No Roses Gallery in Sherman Oaks and am completely in love. From necklaces to earrings to bracelets, this place is full of wearable art that will make your friends proclaim “where did you get that?!”.
